New Affiliation!!!

This post contains affiliated links and product info.

We have been accepted into a new affiliation! Read on to find out more!

That’s right, ladies and gentlemen (who says only women can tat? Huh? Who?!) we have been accepted into the affiliation with Tatting Corner!

So what does that mean exactly? Well the short answer to this is that now we have a special link just for us that we can share on our blog, in our ad space, on Facebook, Twitter, and even in promotional photos on Instagram. When someone visiting OUR site clicks one of these links and purchases one of the items on Tatting Corner, we gain a commission from that purchase!

What does this mean for you, as a reader or customer? Simply that you will start to see more Tatting Corner ads on our webpage and will find links to the specific products used to make our items when we talk about them on our blog. This will help you find the specific materials you need to complete future projects and tat-along events we will be hosting throughout the year.

Now we want to stop here and specify that just because these ads are present on the site, and just because we link the materials back to Tatting Corner where we purchased them, that does not mean that you, the customer/reader/fellow tatter, should feel like you HAVE to purchase from the same vendor. There are plenty of reasons why you SHOULD purchase from Tatting Corner but if you have your own preferred supplier, please do feel free to use them! So without further ado, here is our very first Tatting Corner ad!

Thread and notions at Tatting Corner

Thank you so much for being loyal readers and customers for Threads of Life Creations. We certainly hope we can help Tatting Corner receive the business they definitely deserve. Their customer service is amazing and the owner is more than willing to speak with anyone on Facebook or through e-mails. In fact, we have been in contact for several weeks prior to her affiliate program coming available. She’s really a great woman to talk to and she does what she can for her customers.

In closing, please understand the affiliate links will be changing on our site and you do not need to feel in any way obligated to use them, though it gives us a small bonus if you do!

Thank you

Small Update

This post contains affiliate links and promotional details.

Just a small update to let you know what’s been going on here at Threads of Life Creations. Read on to find out more!

Things are going great here at Threads of Life Creations. We have been working hard lately to make our business a legal one and have filed for a fictitious name as well as a few other legal steps we needed to take to make ourselves an actual business and not just this poor mom’s hobby. We’ve also received our first order for the year! We will be very busy working to make 25 spool pin doilies to fill it as quickly as possible. One of the selected doilies was premade, so that cut our total down to 24 and so far I’ve finished two bringing us down to 22 left to make.

Our customer ordered all five of our spool pin doily designs and in so many different colors! You can expect new, updated product photos in the near future!

In other news, we have applied for the affiliate program with Tatting Corner! If accepted, you will start to see links and ads for Tatting corner replace some of the Craftsy ads on the site. Craftsy will still be present here, so feel free to use the links to get to the Craftsy site but we felt, due to our product line and blogging being mainly about tatting, that Tatting Corner was a much better choice for affiliation. Speaking of Craftsy, however, this weekend they have all new classes available for under $20! The promotion starts today, February 10th and ends Sunday February 12th at midnight. You can find out more by clicking this link to open a separate window.

In addition to all this exciting stuff happening here at Threads of Life Creations, we also have a new product line coming soon! You may have seen our posts about it on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram but we’re working hard to get it launched as quickly as possible! The only thing holding us up right now is the ability to take product photos. Once we get those taken care of and out of the way, we’ll have them launched and you’ll get to see what we’ve been working on this winter!

Well that’s it for our update for now. Here’s hoping you can all join us for another post soon!

Thank you
